Our approach, your advantage
I recently hired Dobson Joiners to carry out several projects in my home, including fitting my kitchen, installing a loft hatch, and fitting skirting boards. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results! From start to finish, the workmanship was outstanding. Every detail was completed to an impeccable standard, and it’s clear that Dobson Joiners takes great pride in their craft. My kitchen looks stunning, the loft hatch is sturdy and seamless, and the skirting boards are perfectly fitted, adding a polished finish to the rooms. Not only is the quality of work fantastic, but the service was exceptional too. Dobson was friendly, approachable, and professional throughout the process. What really stood out to me was his thoughtfulness—he even let my dogs out for the toilet while working in the house! It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like that. I would highly recommend Dobson Joiners to anyone looking for high-quality work and excellent customer service. I’m thrilled with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again in the future. Thank you for such a great experience!

Why bespoke timberwork is worth it
Good joinery does more than fill a physical gap; it helps you utilise space that mass-produced, flat-pack furniture simply cannot accommodate. This is particularly valuable in older properties where walls are rarely straight and standard dimensions do not fit. Working with Dobsons Joiners & Building Services Ltd across York and the surrounding areas ensures you receive custom-built, resilient timberwork that stands up to years of continuous use. Contact our team today to discuss your bespoke joinery ideas and arrange your free, no-obligation quote.
